"Very nice hotel"

"The Hotel Belvedere is an excellent choice to stay In Taormina, Sicily. The property is perfectly located for easy access to shopping and restaurants. The hotel amenities are also excellent. And, the attention from the Staff stands above all other hotels. As an example, upon our arrival, there were four in our party, the host directed us to a sitting area, offered us a Pinot Grigio, and then took the time to orient us to the town, the restaurants, the shopping and the sites to see. "This is a beautiful hotel with breathtaking views and a great location. Our room was large (compared to some European hotels). The bathroom was new. The pool area is gorgeous, again spectacular views. The bar area is nice and there was a piano player in the evening. Valet parking was terrific. Breakfast was great. Only reason for 4 versus 5 is that the hotel is a bit tired. However, when compared to €2600 of San Domingo Palace, this is a gem. "

"Beautiful views and private beach area. The beach was extremely rocky (not the hotels fault) so you really need water shoes to walk the beach or enter the water. Location was ok as you can walk to the Cable Car in about 10 minutes to go to the downtown Taormina. For the price, it was worth the trip. I would go back. For breakfast, the food was good, but there were bees everywhere. I kind of lost my appetite when every time I went to eat my food there were bees on it. "

"Secluded oasis of peace and calm. Oozing with character. V well maintained. Ideally need rental car to fully appreciated the area. Plenty of local restaurant choices 10 mins drive. 25 mins to Taormina. Nice room (junior suite), plenty of space. Bit quirky re electrical points location. Soundproofing not 100% but was never a problem. Excellent bathroom. Breakfast average. Staff professional and attentive."

"The breakfast had a lot of variety. Something for everyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is walking distance to lots or restaurants and shops. The pool looked clean and refreshing but it was too cold for swimming. We enjoyed our stay."
