"The location was perfect for what we wanted to do - i.e. see Mt. Etna and visit Taormina. The grounds are landscaped beautifully as the pictures show and the cabin is as small as the pictures suggest. As long as you can use the front deck, as we did, you don't feel too cramped. The 'buffet' breakfast must be something lost in translation. There was a jar of cookies and a basket of packaged pastries but that was it. "I’ll start with the positives: the brunch in the morning was amazing, especially with the beautiful view, and the breakfast staff were wonderful. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was disappointing. On our first night, our bed actually snapped, and instead of offering us another room, we were simply told to “be careful,” which was surprising and not the level of service I would expect from a hotel. I also want to be specific about the front desk staff. The gentleman working in the evening was very nice and helpful. However, the morning front desk staff did not come across as friendly or welcoming, and overall I did not find the management particularly hospitable. There were definitely some lovely aspects to the property, but the lack of warmth from management and the way the issue with our room was handled really affected our stay."

"If you are traveling to Catania, Sicily, Etna Suites is the best choice without question. My stay was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The hospitality is unmatched. Alfredo and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, informed, and supported, especially during the unexpected volcanic activity. Their kindness, consideration, and attention to detail transformed what could have been a stressful experience into one filled with calm and reassurance. The accommodations were beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. Every interaction felt sincere, every need was met with care, and every moment reflected true customer service at its finest."

"We chose the Quiete for the pool, beach club and a place to wind down after a few days sight seeing. The pool area is lovely, pool bar service is great and it is well cared for. All the staff we engaged with were friendly and helpful with good English. The evening meal on our second night was really good and the kitchen coped well with some tables and a big group of about 50 all eating at the same time. Breakfast was average, a good selection but at 9.30 the scrambled egg looks to have been put out at 7.30 and not refreshed. Kitchen were happy to fried egg to order but not an omelette. If you are a coffee drinker and haven't paid the extra for a room where a coffee maker is included then you won't get coffee as they don't do instant. And while there is a kettle and tea bags there is no milk provided. And when we asked about it there wasn't an offer of any. The bathroom was a bit tired given how recently the place had been upgraded and hot water wasn't too hot in the mornings. One real annoyance was that one of our terrace chairs had gone walkabout to a neighbouring terrace. We spotted this on checking in and ask for it to be either brought back or replaced, 2 days later that hadn't been dealt with despite a second reminder. Overall a nice place to escape the bustle of Taormina, be aware that the walk to get a bus up is a good 10 minutes, some along a main road with poor pavement. However the local shops and restaurants are good and no touristy gifts."

"I ended up being stranded due to the airport closure. I booked my hotel on Expedia in a rush at the airport and when I arrived it turned out I book it for October. The staff were wonderful and accommodated me as they could see I was in stressed safe. I then had to extend my stay as the airport was closed another day, I changed my room to a suite and the suite was incredible, totally amazing and was glad I got to experience it The staff made my stay so compassionate and understanding. Thank you so much to the front desk team ladies."
