"My stay at the Terra d'Amuri was great. The location is perfect within easy walking distance of the Duomo and the beautiful old section of Catania. My stay was made even better by the wonderful and gracious owner, Loredana, who spoke perfect English and was always ready to help with any questions I had about sights and transportation. "Nice area with lots of surrounding options for dining, walking or shopping. Located right in the middle of the town. The hosts were cordial and communicative and also very welcoming. The property itself is different from the pictures advertised, not sure why, but the overall experience was satisfactory. "

"Relatively clean aside from dirt on floors and the white stain on the couch. Biggest issues were: * consistent strong sewage smell in main bathroom, bordering on nauseating. * Cheap soaps * pillows were horrible. Like a rock. * bed was angled in middle -- like sleeping in a burrito * no instructions on entering -- building door key did not work well, had to play with it for 10 min to figure out how to make it work. Also took a while to figure out the entryway lights for the building, etc....

"Hotel was stunning and well located about 5 minute walk from the main strip. under 10 minute walk to the cable cars to go down to beaches. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was a 25 euros per night (closes at 8pm) but very convenient. They bring your car back and forth for you as needed right to the front door. Breakfast was delicious with spectacular views. Highly Recommend! "

"UNACapotaormina was an absolute dream. The staff was so friendly, ready to help and accommodate you at any moment. My husband and I went there to get married and the beauty salon offered me a free 25 minute massage prior to doing my hair which was incredible. Their hair stylist Flora from Gardini Naxos gave me my dream hair style. Overall, service and friendliness would make it so that id return again. "
