"We had Room 200 which large enough for us. The bathroom was immaculate and appeared to be new. Not much of a view but we were not bothered by this. Tea and coffee making facilities and comfy bed. The building itself was amazing as regards an old Spa hotel but some parts looked as though it needed some TLC. The earliest you go for breakfast the better as it gets really busy but the food is still plentiful. "

"Lovely heritage building with a great story to tell, however, as a mobility scooter user it wasn’t great. Yes there’s an accessibility platform lift to use to avoid the steps at the side entrance and I just managed to get my scooter in it, but it’s cumbersome and in the bar area so I was stared at whilst I used it. "Our favourite Sheffield hotel, at the moment. It is set in a beautiful location on the quayside but still easy to walk to the city centre. Cars are safe in the carpark at a reasonable rate - £8.00 for 24 hours. Our room was amazing and had 2 double beds with a bath/ shower and tea making facilities/ iron & ironing board. We also had a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the canal. Everything was clean and check in was easy. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, as we couldn’t see any vegan...

"The staff at the blue jay pub were absolutely lovely and so helpful ,all i have to say is probably a member of staff needs to be alocated in the hotel to save keep walking to the pub to get extra milk ,sugar and toilet roll ,oh and the doors from the hotel room doors are the most loud and scary ones being slammed for hours and hours on end and the floor from the room above us we were room 108 is the most loudest floor heard every footstep all around there rokm so came back from weekend stay...
