"Air con stuck in heating mode, so couldn't get the room cool even though temp was set to 16. Came back from dinner to find it had set itself to 24, room booking hot and unable to cook as it won't go into cooking mode. Hotel itself is fine. Nothing special and don't expect a view - room windows are tiny and for good reason, you have a view either of the Holiday Inn car park or of the side of a block of flats across a narrow alley."

"The White Hart is in a lovely spot, beside the river and close to the beautiful St Botolph's church, which is well worth a visit.
