"What a gem of a hotel. Near the Storo metro station, and and excellent restaurant inside the hotel, with prices that are very Un-Norwegian like (meaning not very expensive). And the room, by European standards, was huge. The staff was great. Would definitely stay there again."

"We had a good stay at the Vulkan although the room was looking a little “tired” round the edges. For a hotel that would be used by a lot of tourists, they had a strangely early breakfast time during the week - finishing at 0930! Location is excellent however with easy walking distance to Grunerlokka for great bars/restaurants and even into Oslo city centre along the Akerselva river."
