Hotel was clean and staff was very helpful with everything! After a full day of exploring coming back to the hotel not wanting to go out, the hotel restaurant/bar was great! Food was great! Next time we are in Portland we would definitely stay here again!

The Heathman is beautiful and the staff are great. We had a few problems, though. We went to our room after being out and the door card didn’t work. We asked for help and they forgot about us. We had to call a second time. It turns out the battery had died. It took quite some time to get us in the room and we almost missed the performance we had paid for, next door.
Then, when we left, it was apparent that one of the valet staff had changed the radio station and got the floor quite dirty. The...

Stayed here with my family. Really great hotel in a convenient location. Would definitely stay again.
Pros:
-Location. Walking distance to a lot of popular shopping and sights in Portland. And only a 2 minute walk to the MAX station light rail if you don't want to walk.
-Very beautiful historic hotel
-Great service from the staff
-Pool is pretty cool
-Good breakfast
-Rooms were nice and spacious
-Very good price for quality of hotel
-Wifi worked well.

I chose to pay $30 and park across the street. Unfortunately my drivers side window was smashed over night. During a very frustrating time the staff was AMAZING. In particular Kim who can out to my vehicle and proceeded to sweep out the glass. She then worked with Griffen and got me a shopvac and extension cord so I could vacuum out remaining glass.
