We had a great stay at this beautiful property. Everything was spotlessly clean and the hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were kind, attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. The amenities were all great, including the gym, padel courts and pool. The gym has fantastic treadmills and an impressive selection of weight machines if that’s your thing. My only suggestion would be to have a few better quality yoga mats for stretching and Pilates. Breakfast was very good, with plenty...

Il Borro - Relais & Châteaux

Loro Ciuffenna

10/10 Excellent

Il Borro truly hit all marks for a unique and luxurious stay in Tuscany. The location is a bit removed from the traditional or well-traveled parts of Tuscany, but is perfect if you are seeking quiet, rural and unblemished landscapes. One tip: arrive early (before dark) as the estate is sprawling and GPS sends you in a different direction than reception. We were pleasantly surprised that our 2-room suite in the Il Borro village (different than the Villa) was in fact a 2-bedroom house with a...

Grand Hotel Continental Siena – Starhotels Collezione

Siena City Centre

10/10 Excellent

Hotel is in fantastic location right in the middle of the action. Our room overlooked a small square across the street that had a holiday concert that we were able to watch from the room. Hotel bar is pricey, as expected by a 5* lobby bar, but staff is friendly and prompt. Only complaint is the flatness of the pillows and that's stretching. Breakfast is great (buffet plus small menu), staff is quick to recommend dinner places and cafes, and Siena is one of the best towns in Italy. Very...

It was a quiet, and enjoyable stay. The gentlemen at the reception were always pleasant. My room was clean with plenty of space. The bed was very comfortable. The check in was easy. The location was central to the things that I wanted to do. Although I had planned on walking from the train station, I ended up taking a taxi for €11.90. It was worth it as the streets are very hilly and not easy to navigate with luggage. When checking out, they called a taxi for me and even offered to carry my...

Agriturismo SOLE

A Tuscan Gem in the Heart of Val d’Orcia Agriturismo Sole was everything we hoped a stay in Tuscany would be—and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt warm, authentic, and incredibly peaceful. Surrounded by olive trees and the beautiful countryside of Val d’Orcia, it gives you that true Tuscan family-farm atmosphere while still being comfortable and beautifully designed. Our apartment was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and full of character. It had the charm you expect from the Tuscan...
