"The host was very welcoming upon arrival and gave us a great tour of the property along with some area history. Such a peaceful setting. Really enjoyed the patio upstairs off the bedroom. "This villa is AMAZING!!! We had a group of 6 adults but EASILY could have fit 4 more. Coming from the US, this is the epitome of what we Americans envision Tuscany to be. We still can not believe how little we paid for the week, this would have easily been 3 times the amount in the US. "Our group of 6 adults stayed at this beautiful property May 2024. If you're comfortable being in a Tuscany location that isn't walkable to restaurants or other services, stay here! You will need a car to visit some of the amazing towns in the vicinity. The host and her daughter provided excellent communication before, during and after our stay. "We had a wonderful stay in Siena. You absolutely can't beat the views and the location! We were a short drive into the heart of Siena and were able to take day trips in all directions to other beautiful towns in Tuscany. The host was absolutely amazing. She greeted us upon check in and helped us at a moment's notice throughout our trip...even helping us make phone calls because we could not speak the language enough to do so. "This is a stunning property with a stunning view that photos simply cannot do justice to. My only reservation was the very poor directions to find it and some difficulty getting a hot water issue sorted out . The garden is stunningly beautiful and lavender bushes a hive of activity for bees and gorgeous butterflies that did not desturb us in any way even when standing in their midst observing them closely. "Villa Gagnoni is a well restored authentic Tuscan farmhouse in a superb, tranquil "away from it all" natural setting. "Nous avons loué une maison avec piscine mais nous n'avons pu utiliser la piscine que deux jours, dimanche et lundi (impraticable mardi et mercredi, eau trouble et très chlorée jeudi et vendredi). "This house is very nice. It is centrally located outside Siena and good location to explore all over Tuscany. It is off the beaten path so you’ll definitely need a rental car. Even just to get there. It is remote. Which is a plus but also has some drawbacks. We went in March so pool was closed. Too cold to swim. House is several levels. Kitchen and dining room are downstairs. We cooked several simple meals after going into town to grab groceries. Nearby town is nice. Not a lot of restaurant...

"The views were beyond compare! Proximity to Castellina in Chianti was wonderful and the management team were responsive to a few issues. My main comment would be, especially considering the rental cost, that the furniture and kitchen supplies (dishes etc) needs upgrading and the quality of the beds/linens should be improved. "The location is really beautiful. There are constant shuttles to transport from one location to other within the property. Nice food options and music on specific days Clean Cabins If you have not booked shuttle from the Figline station to this place- you may have a hard time getting a taxi from the station. I recommend to plan ahead for the commute from the train station to this property."
