"Only stayed for one night as in the area for business purposes. Had an evening meal in the bar area and the food was excellent. Room was clean and nicely decorated with all amenities provided. Staff were professional and courteous. The breakfast was superb in the morning although I did not have much appetite early on I wouldnt have gone hungry if I had been ready for food. Lovely natural yoghurt with fruit compote and honey and although I didnt actually eat the bacon barm at breakfast I took it...

"Quiet town/village feel. Easy to find and park. Restaurant has lots of choice and many locals eating there, which is a very good sign. Welcoming check in. "

"The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming and really helpful. The room was exceptional, very spacious, high standard furnishings and the bed was very comfy. A really cosy, relaxing place and atmosphere."

"Nice and clean, the staff are very friendly and attentive ,if it's not there they will they will get one for you (hair dryer). Breakfast lovely will make you what ever you require. Nice bar where you can order your excellent home cooked evening meal. We recommend the steak pie. Bathroom mirror could have been a little bit lower for my little legs other than that no complaints ."

"First time i've actually stayed at premises like this as i'm usually "Travelodge" kinda person. Thought i would just treat myself and was quite surprised at the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food and the comfort of the room. The locals use the restaurant and it can be quite busy, so booking for a table can be a must (Fri & Sat evenings), but even then the friendliness of the locals is quite good. Would recommend staying here as you are dealing with a local business, not some...
