The Stirling Highland Hotel
8/10 Good
"Enjoyed our stay as it was conveniently situated. Some aspects of the hotel were tired and needed some attention such as the bathroom in the bedroom and the gym. Lighting was poor in the bedroom and the bed (2 x singles put together) was lopsided. Staff were friendly. The bar was quite cold so we took our drinks down to the reception area which had comfy chairs and was warmer. Needed to pay £10 a day parking as I’d booked through a third party rather than directly with the hotel. Overall however, none of these things would put me off staying here again."

"Niki could not do enough for you. Nothing was a bother. Excellent food and staff. Room was lovely. Excellent location for travellers who would like to explore Auchterarder, Dunblane, Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Gleneagles. Thoroughly recommend."

"We spent one night here on a road trip of Scotland, this place to us felt grand, cosy and super relaxing! The location and the grounds on this spot is obviously the best part about it, we were blessed with good weather but I can imagine this spot is prefect all year round! Comfy rooms, lit fires, live pianist, and good food! What more could you ask for! We unfortunately didn’t get to use the facilities, as we had been travelling all day and ended up then eating late as we had to wait for a space to seat! So our only gripe with this hotel was having to wait just under an hour for a spot in the restaurant to eat, and waiting in the bar and not notice many coming/ going and then being sat in a fairly empty restaurant felt a bit deflating! But that was purely because we were gutted to miss out on using the pool/ amenities! However, the food was great, quality and wholesome so just make sure you book if you want to eat here! Reception staff were super kind too! And breakfast was as you’d hope!"

"Really enjoyable stay. Food in the restaurant and drinks in the bar..great. Hotel was a booking for an early flight from Edinburgh airport as its o ly 25 minutes from the airport. Would recommend the Adamson"
