James and Staff were extraordinary in their service! A plus is the parking in front, although limited to 4 cars. Delicious breakfasts were served in a wonderful restaurant setting. Suggestions for restaurants were awesome. Our group of 4 could not have found a better place for our multi-day stay in Perth. This was one of our highlights for our two-week stay throughout Scotland.

Loved Bankfoot. The food was great, the bar was great, just loved the place. Make sure you get to Stewart Tower Creamery too.

Unbelievably attentive staff, excellent dinner, all that you would expect fom a 5 star hotel -- and this in Scone. And the golf course suited my play. My only regret, staying one night and not one week.

Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The parking was easy and free. Breakfast was free and had plenty of options. There’s also a restaurant next door which was nice to walk to.

Lovely place, set in own grounds and right on the banks of the river. Dining options are limited to the very upscale restaurant and as the hotel is rather isolated you're pretty much locked in. Nice bar area and great service though food choices not really for children - this is somewhere for that special dinner. Breakfast was amazing - very good value as it is included in the price. This was a wonderful place. Friendly, welcoming staff! Lovely comfortable room. It was only about a 9 minute drive to the center of Perth. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was so helpful. What a special hotel with lots of history. I appreciated the quality and decor of the old hotel. The Sally is a special place. Breakfast was good and very conveniently organized making my morning get away easy.

Toward the end of a recent, three-week trip in the UK, I checked into the Mercure Hotel in Perth, which cleverly occupies a former mill, complete with a waterwheel in the lobby! After experiencing similar chain hotels (without water wheels) in other cities (Bath, Birmingham, Sheffield, and Manchester), I felt that I have a sense for the industry standard, and the Perth Mercure easily rose to the top. The rooms are not as "slick" as others in more modern buildings, but none of my pet peeves found...

Excellent location, well-appointed, clean, conscientious property manager. Suggest that for the rate charged small bathroom supplies like shampoo and soap be provided. Suggest in-flat wifi and a small tent showing which wifi network to use. The password is on the wall but there were ten networks visible from inside the flat and I had to fish for which one to use. Property manager was proactive and courteous in helping me avoid complications from a protest march on the day of arrival. Flat...
