"The good first- Beautiful unmatched view! With Binoculars you really can see ponies on Assateague from our balcony and wildlife galore. Nicely decorated with all amenities you need. Easy to find wuiet and out of the way.The bad- Never went somewhere to stay where we had to put the clesn sheets on my bed ..... not good after a 10 hour drive. We had to haul the towels and sheets upstairs...oh did I say towels...no no no lets call them what they really are...white sandpaper that can remove rust to...

"The inside was beautiful I couldn’t complain about it at all it’s close to a lot of nice shops, restaurants and other things like that it was just more or less the outside … the people talked me into buying and going a day early whitch was iffy I liked that they did but the price wasn’t much different they said I got a mayor discount but still ended up spending over a 100 for the discounted day but when we got there it was pouring down raining whitch is no one’s fault but the whole back yard was...

"The host was very responsive and brought toys over for our children to help occupy them while we were there. The host is also connected to the Daisey's Island Cruises and gave us a discounted price to take in the cruise while we were on the island. That was very enjoyable and helped us learn more about the island and the annual pony round-up. It suited our family of 5 well."

"Mermaid Crossing was very clean and came with most amenities, even a dog crate, bowl, and treats for our pup! The bathrooms could use updating but the house overall was comfortable. The kids loved the outdoor shower and the backyard dock on the bay was the best part! I loved that kayaks, crab traps, and bikes were provided. The rental company was also great to work with."
