"We ran our AC from the time we got there Friday around 4pm until we left Sunday morning and couldn’t tell a difference at all. It was very warm in the room. Wasn’t able to enjoy the outdoor seating area out side our room because of so many mosquitoes. The pool and hot tub were great. The breakfast was “ok”. It was nice that they brought it to the room. Likes going out to visit with the horses. We were on the first floor and very noisy, heavy footed upstairs neighbors. Might want to install different flooring for the second floor so it’s not so loud. All in all a nice get away."

"The location of this hotel was convenient to walking to stores and restaurants. It was nicely landscaped with a fountain, and had comfortable seating outside for viewing the bay. It also offered a heated outdoor pool which I enjoyed for swimming, as well as an indoor pool and hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful, Looking forward to another stay there in the future!"

"We had a very good time at Beach Pines. We love Piney Island and its close proximity to Assateague, and being able to shower outdoors. We loved the big, well-furnished porch, where we spent most of our time. The kitchen was pretty well-equipped, but we always bring our own chef's knives and favorite kitchen equipment. We had some delicious dinners out on the dining table out on the porch. The grill was a bit of a disappointment. The grate didn't fit and we had to finish cooking that meal inside. The host may remedy this by next year, though. we stayed very late in the season. Even though we had a great time, our biggest problem was the internet connection. I contacted our host early on about this, and they had us reset the modem, which we did several times throughout our stay. This helped marginally. We kept getting dropped and then reconnected for a few minutes at a time. I didn't contact the host again about it, which perhaps I should've done, but I didn't want to be a pain. So. Maybe this is my fault for not being persistent. I wrote to them about the problem and hopefully that will be fixed by next season. We stayed in the master bedroom which is very spacious and bright and was a nice place to wake up in the morning. So the most important things to me were all there: a big screened porch with comfortable furniture, the outdoor shower, and a Piney Island location. It was a great place to get away and decompress."
