"I took a solo trip for myself it was my birthday weekend. Check in was quick and easy. Get to my room it smelled so bad it was like water damage was in the air. Hair was in my bed, toilet, bathroom and the furniture was very out dated and stained up. When I complained to management they had called someone in but they had to clean other rooms that had complained. I couldn’t wait any longer so sleepy and needed rest I asked for another room they didn’t have one so management came cleaned my room the best she could and I helped her change my bed. I was really hurt because I wanted my weekend get away to be nice but the smell was not helping."

"This hotel is barely passable. The staff was not very friendly or helpful with maybe one exception. The property was very dated and needs an update very badly. Our shower did not drain until I asked them about it again our third day when they finally did fix it. Room service occurs only every third day. The room cleaning was adequate but not thorough. For example the beds were clean and the towels were fresh, however the vent in the bathroom, the tops of all the shelves, and parts of the floor were not. We also found two small roaches in our room during our stay. Our balcony door was also pretty stuck and took a lot of effort to open. There was also a lot of road noise during the day and the AC unit squeaked a lot. The gym was pretty good but not for a high quality Hotel."

"The room was good. Adequate size and clean. The in-house restaurant was good also. My only complaint was the fire alarm going off very early morning on all the days I was there. There was never an announcement the alarm would just as turn off. When inquired at the front the desk they would answer very casually the kitchen alarm is very sensitive nothing more"

"Don't stay here. The only redeeming qualities weee the pillows and the bartenders. Hallways were dirty, two paper coffee cups in plastics were the only things to drink from. When we asked for glasses they gave us more paper cups. They did not make up the room. Had to ask for them to make up the room the next day and it was only half cleaned. The bed was partially made. I took a picture and went to the front desk. The manager was too busy to speak to me. We travel a great deal and when we pay for a Curio hotel we expect a certain level of care at the hotel. We did NOT receive that at all. We were greatly disappointed. I would recommend this hotel at all. It is clearly not managed well and is not worth the money you pay to stay there."

"Loved the style and cleanliness and how helpful the staff was ! We had a room with 2 bunk beds and I was looking so forward to being on one of the top bunks but !! The way the ladder is designed to climb up , makes it very difficult to climb up to the top! It’s a straight up not slanted ladder and you have to turn to the right to grab the bed safety guard which is difficult to do as you’re trying to pull yourself to the top ! Bad design especially because these are pretty high up ! The room had lack of seating actually none at all and no side tables which made it difficult for two of us who require cpap machines ! Music in the main hang out areas was a bit loud but we did find a sort of conference room which was quiet! I would go back but would choose a different room ! It’s a VERY cool place to stay ! Just be mindful of which room you choose based on your needs"
