Extremely welcoming - great hosts. Ciska was helpful and terrific from start to finish, even preparing early breakfast for us to accommodate our early tour. Must be a new guest house as the locals were unfamiliar with it - you'd never know with the polished hospitality!

I had a great experience at Montagu Vines. The property and my room were beautiful and the breakfast was a good as any I’ve had at at B&B (made even more enjoyable by the view over the garden and olive grove). Best yet was the personal care provided the owners Pam and “Ant” who are very hands on. I highly recommended Montagu Vines.

Incredible boutique experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like royalty. Every attention to detail. A wonderful afternoon tea followed by happy hour. Beautiful room, incredibly clean, stunning views. Highly, highly recommend staying here on your Garden Route drive! Thanks again to the wonderful Team!

Staff was friendly and helpful!!

This guest house felt like a home away from home. The fire was inviting and the staff were warm and fun to talk to about rugby and all things South African. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were individual and comfortable.

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast at the foot of Table Mountain and in the middle of an eclectic neighborhood where all the good restaurants are. The owners are very gracious and gave us great tips on where to go, what to see in Cape Town and the surrounding area. It was not just a hotel stay but a true experience to be there.

Great location and amazing staff

We Spend 2 nights at the end of a 10 days stay in Cape Town for our honeymoon. The room was great, the bed really comfy, the view from our balcony was amazing. The 2 nights we were there, they left creme brulee and chocolate covered strawberries on our bed. It was really sweet. The staff was helpful and friendly.

It’s a beautiful guest house and in a lovely quiet spot. We were greeted very pleasantly by Dawn(?) who kindly showed us the wonderful facilities. If we ran a guest house this is exactly how we would do it. Our bedroom was beautiful with plenty of room and a very comfortable bed and a lovely shower. This place was a wonderful ending to my trip. The owners and staff were wonderful and made the place feel so homey. The surroundings are gorgeous and peaceful. I loved watching the peacock and chickens. I felt so relaxed and confortable I would definitely recommend and return.

Great accommodation in very special surroundings

Fernwood Manor is wonderful. Clean, well decorated, quiet, and well heated/cooled. Staff are professional and helpful. Breakfast is prepared for you. Best of all, it is a short walk from one of the best, if not the best, botanical garden, Kirstenbosch. August and September are months with amazing blooms.

Great people and beautiful place to stay, feel like home

After Sahara tour and a day’s travel by taxi from Mezouga, we’re really exhausted. Walking through their modest front door, we found ourselves in a lavishly beautiful oasis. Our room is neat, styled with signature handcrafts of Fez. Hotel manager is a smart and very friendly lady who listened and tried to accommodate our needs. Our room was small, but very well designed and the view was to die for. Sitting outside at night was incredible. They have larger rooms and they all have a great view. Breakfast was very good.

Enjoyed the room and areas around it

KLM fed me some poisoned breakfast on the 2nd leg of a 3-legged dog, 32 hour journey here, leaving me vomiting from both ends on the flight from AMS to CPT. This gave me the perfect excuse to do what I came here to do - absolutely nothing. I'm going into day 3 of a 4 day stay and have only left the hotel once to get anti-acid from the store down the street. I just wanted to come here to say I went to Africa. I dont want to annoy a lion or try to bury some white guilt in visiting Nelson Mandela's...
