"This is a historic hotel on the San Antonio Riverwalk. Even if you frequently walk off the Riverwalk, as ae did, it has an excellent central location. Staff is exceptional in their hospitality. Pool is small and often shaded from the sun by surrounding buildings. Some balconies are shared with other rooms. Excellent hotel that really captures the feel this great city."

"The hotel was clean and comfy. We always stay here because it’s close to all the places we love to go to. It’s fast and easy check in and out. The staff was very friendly. I will be staying here again."

"Our stay during the festival was excellent; complimentary seating for hotel guests proved valuable since the river walk seats were sold out in advance. We will certainly return next time. The kick back hours buffet and three free drinks were especially useful."

"The property is noticeably older than it appears in the photos, and the cleanliness was not quite up to expectations, although it was generally acceptable. Overall, the stay was fine, but the hotel could benefit from some updates and greater attention to detail. A reasonable option for a short stay, though there is definitely room for improvement."

"Stayed two nights for Day of the Dead festival. 2 min walk to the Alamo, 5 min walk to the Riverwalk. Lots of dining and shopping options close by. Always a clean room. Staff is very pleasant and friendly. Affordable and convenient."

"Excellent location with access to the river walk within the hotel lobby by a sort elevator down, rooms were very spacious and clean. We used the valet parking which was excellent with amazing service from the staff with it being our first time in using valet parking."
