The owner was very accommodating and seems like a great person. I was very impressed with the high quality room. If people are looking for a place to stay, I would highly recommend this place.

Aurora Denali Lodge was a great and nice hotel. They actually have a "KEY" to open your room.

It came with slippers and staff were VERY friendly and helpful

Quaint - in a positive sense - with friendly staff, and well-appointed rooms exhibiting superb craftsmanship of a by-gone era.

Beautiful room facing the lake, clean, comfortable, the bed was one of the best I've ever slept on, the pillows another 5 star. However the check in was a little frustrating... Marked but not well.

Nice clean room with fridge and microwave and near the airport. This hotel offers a shuttle bus and it was very convenient. In the early am coffee was made and breakfast bars/yogurt available.

...because this hotel is not too far out of Anchorage, but just the right amount closer to some of the nature attractions nearby. The best part is, the hotel offers everything you need, and more! The outside of the building, "front desk", and the barnyard-style outside stairs mislead us to believe this hotel was not the right choice. Were we wrong! This is a very large Motel 6. There are no bells or whistles, nor is there luxury. With that said, it was a decent stay in a clean room. The rooms have a mini refrigerator and a microwave. In the lobby they have cups, plates and utensils for guest use. In the morning they offer coffee and tea. Staff at the front desk and housekeeping were friendly, helpful and efficient. I would recommend staying here, but remember its not luxury if that is what you are looking for.

I have stayed in the “best” hotels in Anchorage ( Captain Cook, Marriott, Millennium, etc.), but I enjoyed this unique, quirky, clean and authentic Alaskan motel more than any other lodging. The staff was welcoming and genuinely interested in making my stay pleasant. Thank you to all who run this establishment.
