This is a lovely small hotel on the quai. It was very quiet during the winter months. Breakfast was very good with fresh bread and pastries. Suggestions on area walks and farmer's market from the owner were helpful.

This hotel is right off the freeway and could be closer to the main town; however, it was not a far walk (maybe 10 minutes?). This hotel fits the artsy town. We did the Monet walking tour we found in one of our travel books and it was just a short walk to the beginning. The hotel itself was very clean and everything you'd expect.

The room I stayed in was totally upgraded with fresh tile, a very comfortable bed, and the little things (hair dryer, reading lamp, towel and coat hooks, etc.) I was traveling solo and spontaneously. It was a perfect place to have as a home-base from which to explore Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer proper, the bird sanctuary nearby, and other little inlets here and there. Large room, well equipped. Large terrace with table and two chairs, and screens! Excellent view of the water. Hallways could use brightening - they look dingy. Parking was very convenient and free. We did not try the breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

The room was air-conditioned, with a nice view onto a town square. Staff was very helpful, offering us a bottle of water before we left. The hotel was very clean, nicely decorated with artistic touches throughout. The walls were thoughtfully painted with warm and calming colors. I would stay again, not doubt about it.

The "Mazarin" Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. We expected difficulties due to its location on a narrow mediaeval street, but getting there was easy and parking, while tight, was also acceptable. With the car safely put away, we explored what the hotel had to offer. There is no elevator - instead very many stately stairs. If you have luggage, a lot of luggage, that might be a problem. Well, it wasn't. Before we knew it, the receptionists joined forces and brought everything up. After this...
