"It's a self service check-in though if you phone for help they answer quickly. Makes it decent value, carpark opposite is £9 for 10 hours and free midnight to 8am, check in 3pm 10hr parking gets you to 9am the next day, use the machine and pay by card not the app Good area for bars and restaurants Bed ok clean but not the best, basic overnight stay"

"We stayed here as a pre cruise stay. We had a twin room & I had requested one with a walk in shower due to mum’s mobility which we were given ☺️ We had Room 55 which had a large double bed and also a single bed, tea & coffee making facilities & large smart tv also on room. The room we had was in the separate building at the rear of the property so no traffic noise was heard the only thing was a ‘generator’ kicking in around 7am but apart from that lovely hotel & room would stay again. Both receptionist were lovely & helpful also, thank you for a great stay."

"Very clean room. Pleasant staff. Nice outside space. Food a bit pricey, so didn’t eat in the restaurant. Breakfast £17. I had the full English which was cooked to order, so it was hot and cooked properly. Beer £5 a pint, so swings and roundabouts. Overall a good place to stay. Easy walk into centre of Brockenhurst past ponies and a solitary cow."

6/10 Okay

"Large room. Good desk. Bathroom smelt a little bit of dump. Food wasn't good: cold vegetables, cold chips, rubbery pizza. Also, the walkway between the bedrooms & the bar/reception was exposed to outside temperature, making too cold / uncomfortable so had to carry a coat - a nuisance."
