Wonderful stay in Varzo! Lovely mother and daughter hosts. Delicious homemade breakfast and very comfortable room with a nice view. Right down the hill from San Domenico ski area with excellent scenic hiking. Would recommend Chalet Il Picchio to all!

Wonderful hotel at a very affordable price. The staff is so nice they even did our laundry for only 10 CHF. The room was so spacious with 2 bunk beds and 2 beds in separate rooms. All this plus Beautiful views of the town and mountains. Also very central 10 minutes from town center and train station. Excellent ! Do highly recommend !

The best breakfast

We finally found a hotel in Switzerland with air conditioning...it was very much needed after a long day of hiking. All of the staff we had contact with were exceptionally friendly. The hotel is very well located in a lovely pedestrian only part of town surrounded by great restaurants, easy walk from the train station. We loved the view from our balcony. The honesty bar was an added bonus and breakfast was the best we had in Switzerland. I would go out of my way to stay in this hotel again.

This was a beautiful hotel and conveniently located across the street from the train station. Noise was not a problem. Brig is fairly small so its location was great. The room was bigger than standard (we had a double) with a small balcony and great views. The room and hotel were clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

Excellent staff, delicious food, relaxing environment w wonderful spa/pool, beautiful nature. We definitely recommend this place for a romantic get away, if you love nature.

Hotel Alpenhof if a beautiful, peaceful hotel in Grendelwald. We had a suite on the top floor with a balcony and a sweeping view of the mountains and green hillsides. The room was spacious and clean, with an handy minibar in case you want to have a beer on the nice deck, and tastefully decorated in Swiss style. The restaurant offered good Swiss food and a nice breakfast buffet. Staff were very nice. It’s right up the hill from the train station, so very convenient. They will pick you up if...

Esther’s Guesthouse is perfectly situated in Gimmelwald and very close to the lift. The hosts are very welcoming and have a sweet kiddo that played with my kids on the playground while we stayed there. The village is charming and quiet. It’s a perfect family retreat.

This is an amazing hotel perfectly situated directly across from Grindelwald First. When I say directly across, I mean you can be at Grindelwald First in less than 5 mins. Less than that if you can walk a slight incline quickly. You are also perfectly situated by the shops and restaurants! The hotel is beautiful! The upgraded rooms are amazing and the amenities are to die for. I had a single upgraded room that had a balcony facing the Wetterhorn. I would enjoy my coffee on the balcony each...
