"The welcome was shocking, the arrival time was wrong. Did not receive the entry code by email the day before. The stairs very steep. Very dusty in bathroom. The shower only had very hot water. The window sill had traffic grit in the corners, window were streaked. Uneven floor, luckily we did not fall, but nearly did. If I had known I would not have booked. "The photos do not lie. This property is utterly charming. Adding to that, the hosts add lots of thoughtful touches like leaving some milk, snacks, board games and numerous brochures and guides for local attractions. Some other reviewers have mentioned the busy road; don’t let that put you off, be assured the property is not on the busy A road, but is on a local road which does get light traffic, but it is not at all bothersome: you won’t hear it from inside the house. "Wow, this cottage is 5 stars. So so so clean and tidy. Lovely welcome gifts with doggie treats and homemade chocolate cake. We had a brilliant weekend away with lots of dog walks and shopping at Denbys and designer outlet near by. Heather and Richard you should be very proud of your hard work. We will be back again."
