I attend the UN Climate meetings in Bonn each year, and have stayed in Bonn and in small towns on both sides of the Rhein, to the south of the city. All places except one have been satisfactory, but this one stands out as special. The aesthetics are simple but pleasing. My room was spacious, especially the bathroom, though this is a renovation project and all rooms may not all be cut to the same size and shape. Everything worked. Stayed here with family for an event. Will stay here anytime I am back in Bonn. Great neighborhood with lots of dining and shopping options. The greek restaurant across the street is fantastic and it is wonderful to spent the evening in their back garden under the grapes. The nearby botanical garden is a place of peace and wonder and the walk to the university is leads you through Bonn’s most charming neighborhoods. If you don’t want to walk there is also a very frequent bus.
