I transcended my world weariness and stepped into a starship docked between now and then--perfectly appointed and comfy rooms, antiques a gleaming. Perfect weather, fall views added to the tranquility. I stepped even further back into time watching Sorry, Wrong Number and Kubrick's Killers before I dozed off and woke up to forest views w/bit of shimmering lake, had lunch at the restaurant and resumed my journey

This was located in the heart of the Wine Trail on Seneca Lake. Beautiful views - quiet and comfortable. Will be coming back to stay here for sure!

Had an overnight stay and was a lot of fun. Nice rooms, quiet. Lots of dining options. Could have a more of a variety of slot machines. It is a beautiful area too, lots of good scenic views.

I was visiting the area with my sweetheart and we needed a place to stay overnight. CRITICAL POINTS: The toilet was not clean with obvious use (feces in the bowl and a dirty seat) from the past room occupant. Also, the beds were advertised as Queen sized but were actually Full sized. GOOD POINTS: Christina checked us in and was delightful and up-front about our amenities. The room and bathroom were huge, clean and nicely decorated. It was nice having dedicated parking too. We didn’t realize that since it was end of their season, many spots were closed or only open certain days. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay at the Benjamin!

This is a beautiful hotel. Our king suite was so very nice. Having a top rated restaurant right there was amazing and the breakfast next morning was delicious and well stocked. I can't wait to visit again and take some other family members. My husband said he would drive the 3 hours from where we live just to stay at the hotel and dine at Russells. Every inch of this place is beautiful. And smells heavenly. Excellent food at both rose garden & the sand bar. Adorable s’mores kits for the kids with fires. We loved it!

The property was beautiful. We loved the chalet that we stayed in, super comfy bed, beautiful views, no matter which one you stay in. Staff was very kind, helping us park our trailer, and being accommodating. Would highly recommend this little secret in Watkins Glen.

I loved the hotel and location. However, my room was $219 a night and I was charged $299, w no explanation or receipt. I was also told parking in the garage would be free and was charged $20 to park. For $300 a night, I would think parking would be included. Valet parking was only $18 a night. Had I known I'd be charged $20, I would have done that.

More Handicap parking closer to entrance would be nicer. The staff saw me struggling to walk with my cane so a employee ran over with a wheel chair and took me all the way to our room and said we can keep it till we check out. She also went back and found the foot pads for the chair which made it easier to elevate the legs. Lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance including a remarkable dairy across the street that sold amazing ice cream and various treats.
