Darmstadt a nice city - Matildenhohe very picturesque, lovely Herrengarten park, waldspirale architecture, and fossils in messel - all worth seeing. Excellent public transport - clean, efficient and cheap. Good base to explore the region - had a very enjoyable stay "

"The room was fine and the staff were great. But the hotel shuttle was a rip off. Refused to drive us to the terminal doors. Instead dropped us off outside of the ticket gate, so he could save money I guess. We had to walk several hundred yards with all of our luggage. Better to use Uber or Bolt or take a taxi. "
