Loved the room- large and the lighting was perfect. Loved the chaise lounge. Big windows. Perfect location downtown and right on the river. Very clean and super friendly staff. One of the best HI Expresses I've stayed at.

Cute little cottage. We were just passing through working. Naturally I picked a day the restaurant closed.
Pictures were a little confusing on what you got but I was fine with the room for the price. I'd stay again. Bed was very comfortable.

The hotel property had a very nice clubhouse( fireplace, lounging furniture, games, books, microwave, griddles, refrigerators) There was a lakeside firepit, hammock, chairs and grills for use. All of this for usage qhile being able to have the most beautiful view of a sunrise. Staff very pleasant. Cleanliness and Covid compliant.

It is setback off of the water some, but the property is literally right on the Lake Huron beach. Easy walk from the room to the beach. The Up North 23 restaurant is right next-door.
