"Had a wonderful 5 night stay at the hotel. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews but i was pleasantly surprised. Lovely welcome from check in staff and given lots of information about the hotel and surrounding area. Hotel lobby is impressive, superior double room was spacious, clean and aircon worked perfectly. Breakfast was plentiful and you can order different eggs/bacon from the waitress. My only very small gripe would be that the toaster took ages so put your toast on whilst you enjoy some cereal! The lifts were mentioned in alot of other reviews, to be honest it would be better if all 3 were working but we never had long to wait and we were on holiday so not in a hurry to get anywhere. Central location right by lots of bars/ restaurants and a very short walk to the Rhine. Loved our visit to the hotel and to Cologne, we will be back to visit you both again"

"A nice, well managed and well maintained hotel in a terrific location on the edge of the old town, with easy access to tourist attractions, and just steps away from an U-Bahn station, multiple restaurants and a Rewe market. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. Although we were unable to check in early, the hotel stored our bags so we were able to enjoy a day in the city. The hotel room was clean, reasonably spacious and quite comfortable. The bed was confortable and the bathroom was well designed and adequately appointed. We were particularly grateful to our air conditioning since we visited during a heatwave. The location was incredible, as we were steps away from anything we either needed or wanted. We would definitely consider staying here the next time we visit this grand city."
