"Good breakfast. Only 2 issues - the bar down the street was super noisy until midnight. We had an early morning and couldn’t sleep. Then around 5:30 am we were awakened by a couple of boys looking to be around 12 years old chasing each other down the hallway and slamming the stairs door by our room 322. We have stayed at many Hampton Inns around the country.This was the most expensive ($400) and the worst experience by far."

"Not what I expected for almost $300 a night Staff was friendly but couldn’t get a straight answer out of anyone regarding where/what we could use our $30/day credit on. The “restaurant” was open limited hours breakfast was premade items heated up in an air fryer, no ice machine on any floor. Room was a dump! Walls were paper thin, could hear other guests talking, etc, mattress felt like it had a sink hole in the middle. Room was suppose to accommodate 4 people but there were only 2 bath towels. Bathroom was small, clean but not nice looking. Wasn’t informed until day of check in that pool was closed and entire place was under renovation. No discount was offered. Truly disappointing experience given we were there for accepted students day at Univ of Tampa. Hotel was walking distance to campus but will never stay there again."

"Rooms clean, Big suites, kitchen area with big fridge. Walk to trolly. Breakfast was standard continental with eggs and bacon or sausages. Waffle maker. Cereal and a couple of pastry choices. Only fruit choices were an apple or a banana. Have a small selection of goodies in the lobby store for sale if you need a late evening ice cream. It weas useful to have a CVS across the street for items we forgot packed. If you get an uber at the airport give him the address because there are 2 Home 2's in Tampa. We were taken to the wrong one near the airport not Channel district. They arranged transportation to the Cruise terminal if that is where you are going, Very efficient and inexpensive. There are 3 or 4 restaurants in the area, but found the Irish Pub down the street with a varied menus at a decent price was good."

"Great location. Lots of great restaurants and bars within 5 mins. Great facilities. We were only here for one night on returning from a cruise but would be ideal if you were travelling for business and wanted a less traditional hotel. Highly recommend and will try other ROOST locations in the future. "
