"Service was incredible. The entire staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good, but pricey if you don’t get it included in your room rate. The location is excellent, 10 minutes to the central train station with access to trams, and ferries, but the area is quite walkable. It is on the edge of the red light district but you can go there or avoid it easily. Pop for a canal view. The bar is really special, great snacks, drinks, and you can have a full dinner there. All the rooms are different, a bit quirky but very charming. Beautiful wood hallways and lots of art deco touches, worth a walk around the hotel. We stay here whenever we come to Amsterdam."

"Loved the option to store bags in the luggage room while we took a side trip to another euro city. The original Heineken brewery memorabilia in the building was also a fun find. "
