Angel Island, just a short ferry ride away from San Francisco, makes for some fantastic hiking. You get some great views of the bay, the city, and that beloved bridge. I'd recommend taking one of the morning ferries over to have plenty of time to explore. Take note of the ferry return times, so you can plan out when to head back. If you end up having to wait a bit for the return ferry, it's no problem! There's a cafe by the dock where you can grab a coffee or a snack while you wait. #TakeAHike

Stonestown Mall was in easy walking distance to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with on street parking. Thank you for a nice stay. "

"I was in the area for the Point Reyes Bird Festival. The unit is in an idyllic spot surrounded by hills and forest. It is a couple miles off the main road on a steep winding private road but worth the trip. I would recommend arriving during daylight."

The owner did not reach out or say anything and when I tried to reach out, my calls were saying they were not accepting calls. "The apartment was very clean and quiet. It's in a good neighborhood convenient to Balboa Park BART station, a Whole Foods, and a Safeway. At most times it was about a 15 minute Uber ride or 30+ minute BART ride from downtown San Francisco. The only thing we would have appreciated is some other way to make coffee than a Keurig machine; we made do, but a cheap French press or pour-over drip would have been nice. Thanks for the great stay."
