"Convenience for my purposes (visiting a friend who lives nearby) and price outweigh the initial impression of a slightly seedy block. The reception fellow was pleasant, warm, and observant. He really was the best asset of the motel. Was worried at first about noise from neighbors, but they weren’t an issue after all. Felt safe and slept well.
