"We stayed in the walled garden cottage. It was lovely inside and very clean. The facilities were good although we couldn’t operate the oven and thought an idiot’s guide may be useful. We visited the pub on one evening but because we were only having a drink we weren’t allowed to sit at a table. This meant we had to sit at the bar on tall seats for a good period of time as we’d ordered a bottle of wine. "Waterfront hotel rooms are located behind their restaurant. You check in to your room at the restaurant. Our room was small but nicely furnished and had a large bathroom. A quiet courtyard has outdoor seating. Breakfast was included. It was order off the menu with a great selection. In fact this was the best breakfast of our 16-day vacation.This restaurant also serves dinner and I think it was the best in town. The hotel is located in the center of town but most places close at 9pm. "

"Wow! An amazing stay!! The staff and owners were superb, always attentive, friendly and very helpful going to great lengths to make sure the stay was above standard.. Our dog, Hector, has never been pampered as much as he was here! The food was absolutely top class (especially the Korean Sticky Wings) .. The room was huge, clean and well stocked. Couldn't really ask for more. we WILL be back!!"

"We stayed here for 2 nights on BB basis. Alll staff are excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable with views across Tay Bridge and Quayside. Enjoyed the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, not overly busy. Showers are lovely and clean and have shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast was lovely however was slightly disappointed with the waffles, wasn’t fresh and saturated in too much maple syrup. Stayed at Apex in Glasgow and the waffles were freshly made and crispy so was expecting same. "
