"We asked for a cup of tea to go with the buffet & was told we couldn’t have one, We were told you can have the tea bags but can’t use the kettle that was sitting beside the teabags, we even offered to pay for the tea. very disappointed in the staffs reaction to the situation. "The apartment is absolutely fantastic! Photo's are great but it's 5 star in real life! Host was a dream to communicate with and was very flexible with our arrival & departure times. When we arrived, the apartment was immaculate and lovely & warm. Beautiful furnishings and very comfortable sofas and beds. Two free car park spaces outside the apartment and walking distance to the train station (5 mins), town, beach and golf courses (10 mins). If you're visiting go to The Rookery (at Carnoustie Golf Club), the food is superb and the service absolutely brilliant. We were sad to leave and would not hesitate to recommend to others. "We had a wonderful stay, the beach boathouse is gorgeous. Loved the halloween touch when we arrived carved pumpkins in the window. Perfect for our little halloween party . Comfy and cosy with a perfect view of the water. We will defo be back."
