"The food was lovely though a little slow, the staff were very helpful. Only one very small thing was that we were in late after a concert and one of the wee reading lights wouldn't turn off. We didn't notify reception at the time as it was late and needed our bed. In the morning at check out we let reception know and the staff were very apologetic and offered us free coffee or tea to take away. Couldn't fault the service at reception."

"Staff fantastic and very pleasant Breakfast was a fabulous choice and scottish breakfast was buffet but all food very hot. Coffees excellent aswell from a machine. 10 out of 10 overall"

"The decor inside the Malmaison is unique an interesting. The staff is kind and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the showers are nice. The food selection is good for breakfast. We did not eat there for dinner, so I cannot speak to that. If you are traveling to Dundee, this is a good and convenient option. "

"Great apartment style hotel in a great location! We really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to book again. All staff extremely pleasant and helpful. The suite was spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchenette (although we didn't really use it). A super breakfast is included in your room price and I have to say it was lovely. Cannot fault our stay in any way! "

"Rooms were brilliant. This hotel was an old Jute mill and the room reflected that with some original features mixed with modern facilities. Rooms were spacious and had everything you need. Coffe machine and pods .. fridge with complimentary water was a nice touch. Breakfast was good .. buffet style and had decent selection. Only negatve with breakfast was that there was no haggis. Rest of hotel was reslly well pesented although had to queue for 20 mins at reception to check in but that more because there was a festival on and place was busy. Car parking was there but small and all spaces filled .. had to park in close by council car park so not a major issue."
