"My sister and I moved to Bradenton when we were teenagers. We loved going to the beach on AMI. Now, 60, years later, we were looking for a nostalgic 3-day getaway. Cedar Cove was perfect for us. Small, quiet and friendly, it captured the old Florida vibe. We were in the Coconut Suite which gave us wonderful Gulf views and some natural beauty with palms and pines. We drank iced tea on the balcony while we watch the beach walkers go by. Then we just walked down there too when the sunset arrived. I watched a pelican diving for fish and the sandpipers racing the waves. I even swam out to the sand bar! I was surprised how well Cedar Cove had weathered Hurricane Milton. The pullout couch was actually comfortable. The full kitchen was a bonus. The designated parking space was appreciated. All-in-all we had a great getaway at Cedar Cove."

"Five stars isnt enough. From arrival to leaving, best in every way. Rooms are huge, full size kitchen, plenty of drawers, large family would love this. Large murphy bed for kids. Balcony is huge and screened. Night life in the evening, but it you prefer quiet, close your large glass doors and it is silent. Bright relaxing atmospher. Bathrrom is huge. Cleaning staff was beyond their duties. Very quuck with needs, cleans every day. Even offered to carry our luggage to our car. Please give them tips. Had i had more cash on me I'd of given more. Two minute walk to beach, five minutes to dolohin, sandbar tours, plenty of restaurants, some hidden away that are awesome. Trolly right across the street. Publix about 2 miles down the road. There is a pool, we didn't use it. They could charge more, it is worth more. "

"It was our first time in Anna Marie Island. We were unsure how it was going to be so soon after the hurricane. They have done an amazing job putting Anna Maria Island back together. We wanted to do our part by supporting local businesses during our stay. Our stay at Pelican Post was in a great area very close to shopping and restaurants. It was a block from the beach. We stayed in a 2 queen room. It had plenty of room with a large bathroom with walk-in shower. The pool area was very clean and inviting. There was even a small yard area with seating and cornhole set. A WI vs OH tournament took place. Met a lot of great friendly people along the way. We will definitely return to Anna Marie Island and would stay at Pelican Post again. "
