"Lovely peaceful villa out of the way down a bumpy track (car essential!) Vultures circling overheard, butterflies and goat bells. Beautiful views of sea and mountains. Kitchen well equipped, comfortable lounge with everything you need if the weather is not perfect. There are loud cats that want to be fed. Lovely pool and outside space as well as balconies. We had a very relaxing stay. Our only criticism is that some of the bedrooms are quite musty smelling and very dusty - could do with a deep clean. "

"This was a fantastic stay and the listing couldn't be more accurate. We stayed for 8 nights and it was our first holiday with our 5 month old baby.Kathie and Chris are great hosts. They really made us feel at home and went through everything with us when we arrived which put us at ease for the week and made us fully familiar with how to live comfortably during our stay.The views are stunning. The sunrises in particular were breathtaking given the apartment sits on an eastern facing hill. Kathie and Chris have done an incredible job with the design of the space as well.The pool - this was the standout for us. We were keen to still stay somewhere that enabled us to explore the west side of the island but the private pool was a huge plus point as we were keen to get our 5 month old into it and have the privacy and peace to do so at our own pace (without lots of kids splashing around or similar at hotel pools). Don't be put off by the pool being salt water - this isn't remotely as explicit as it sounds. It's a process of chlorinating the water and isn't remotely what you would guess a salt water pool would be like - do not let the naive understanding of salt water pools put you off - its better than a regular pool.Overall an unforgettable stay, which is lovely as we will cherish our first ever family holiday being somewhere as amazing as this.Do not hesitate if you are considering booking this apartment!! "Excellent property with one bedroom and bathroom in an annexe. More than enough balcony and solarium areas. The pool was larger than expected. Overall a lovely property. The only improvements would be baking trays or ceramic dishes for cooking and the bathrooms need updating, especially the main bathroom as it’s door does not open/close properly and is a risk with children. Perfect position for us - in a tiny village out of the way from anything but with tavernas within 5 minutes drive and lovely towns such as Vamos, Georgiopolis, Plaka, Kalyves and Almyrida within 15 - 20 minutes drive "

"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Très bonne situation géographique. Seul bémol la piscine qui ferme à 18 h c est trop tôt et si vous pouviez décaler à plus tard le dîner ce serait mieux pour profiter. Je recommande cet hôtel "

"The hotel is perfect for a beachy, chilled holiday if that’s what you enjoy. The small town has some shops etc which is good and Chania is only a 30 minute drive away along with Souda which are beautiful towns. Especially the Chania markets! A must go to if you love a bargain! The hotel could be somewhat more clear on what is included etc. The hotel is amazing so don’t let that put you off but we were told the tourist charge was €10 euro per room, per night, which is correct but we were also charged extra and we’re unsure really what that was for. Also we have been twice to this hotel, the first time when booking we had the option available to go all inclusive plus but the second time that option wasn’t available until we arrived at the hotel and it was quite steep compared to the first time we visited the hotel and with not much difference to the basic all inclusive package. After all a gin and tonic is a gin and tonic be that from the local gin or branded big name gin. Overall though, lovely place to stay and the staff are amazing! So helpful and super polite! Will absolutely be back again! "
