"The beds were comfortable and the toilets and showers were very clean with good amenities. The staff were always very friendly and it is a good proximity to a lot of accessible train stations. It was consistently very quiet at nighttime which I appreciated. A little warm in the rooms so I wouldn’t wear thick pyjamas but would absolutely visit again! "

"The experience was amazing especially considering the low cost. It’s better suited for people travelling light because storage for suitcases is limited. The mattress was comfortable as well as the included comforter and pillow. I could faintly hear someone snoring somewhere in the room, but it did not ruin my sleep. The showers and toilets and in the adjoining room were plentiful enough not to have to wait to use. The Ueno Station is very close and made it easy for me to go where I wanted...

"Clean, comfortable and close to shopping district. Rooms are small but come with an excellent private bath. I stayed here 15 years ago and remember liking it more than the fancy $300 a night hotel room paid for by my employer for work nights. Now, if you need space or are traveling with children I probably wouldn't book but it is easily the best value for a comfortable room in all of Japan in my opinion. "
