"Location is great - abt 7-10mins walk to Tawarachi Metro station on the Ginza Line. And the surrounding Asakusa area is lively, with many restaurants and close to the Sensoji Temple and Don Quijote. Room size for the twin room is comfortable and slightly bigger than the average room size in Japan. I love that their bathroom had a shower stall with a glass door that keeps the wet and dry areas separate. A lot of Japan hotels have those shower+bathtub combinations that are slippery, inconvenient to get in and out of, and often with dirty shower curtains, I hate those so I'm really glad I found this hotel with a good clean standing shower stall. They provide free snacks and drinks in the lobby from 8-10pm. The only drawbacks of this hotel for me are that the beds are really quite hard, and the daily housekeeping is minimal (towel change, amenities replenish, rubbish disposal) unless otherwise requested. "

"So the room was clean, but very small. I know this is the norm in Tokyo, but it was small. Also, the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were tragic. No iron available the entire time either. For a few days, it's certainly doable, but I'll not book here again. "

"This hotel is perfectly equipped to be a lovely stay. My room was clean, amenities plentiful, including PJ. Location is interesting, right next to one of major Tokyo temples. Onsite onsen adds to comfort of the stay. The only downfall is the front desk staff. It’s lacking hospitality vibe. Case in point - my taxi driver pulled to the back entrance. I had my doubts, so we both rang the intercom. A lady came out and after checking my reservation confirmed it was the proper place. So I went to the taxi to pay the driver and collect my luggage. But instead of keeping the door open, she went back and shut it. I rang again. Someone else came out and tried to tell me the entrance is around the corner. He saw me, 70 yo woman with luggage, and still insisted I had to go around. He eventually reluctantly let me come in. The checkin process was formal, not hospitable. No introduction to these wonderful amenities. No welcoming gestures I have experienced in other hotels. I saw a sign about a welcome drink and asked. I was told to go around the corner to the restaurant and pour myself from a machine. In another incident, I booked an extra day after my flight got rescheduled. I talked to the front desk to confirm I could keep my room. Later that day I got an email asking about my expected arrival time - they had no clue I was already there."
