"What a fun find! We really enjoyed our stay at Elktrace. The ranch was serene. The location is about a 20- minute drive from downtown Pagosa Springs. Once you leave the highway, it’s a relatively short (maybe 1-2 miles) drive down a dirt road and there are several signs to direct you to the property. The additional instructions were also helpful.We stayed in the designer cottage with king bed which was spacious, and well decorated. There was a full kitchen, 1/2 bath with toilet and 1/2 bath with shower. There’s also a thermostat controlled gas fireplace which creates lovely ambiance when the temperatures dip. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Check in was easy to coordinate once I was able to reach the owners. I recommend texting/messaging and calling as cell phone coverage is poor in the area. My only recommendation is that I think it would be helpful to have some cleaning supplies available in the room for tidying up. Overall, a lovely B&B experience we would return to if in Pagosa Springs again. "

"House was perfect for our group. Price was incredibly fair. Owner was responsive. Location is amazing. About a 30-minute drive from Wolf Creek ski area while also walking distance to Pagosa Springs. The skiers and non-skiers in our group all enjoyed our trip."
