"We were a group of 8 fairly experienced hikers from the Monument/Co Springs area wanting to knock out the 5 big peaks in this area. We absolutely loved this location as it was perfect launch spot for all of our hikes allowing us to get early start and make it back for a shower/bath and make dinner before heading out the next morning. The BBQ was wonderful for our fellowship time and the location being so close to town was perfect! The home was clean, comfortable, well stocked with all the necessities (especially coffee) and also close enough to town so if you needed to grab something or want to go out to eat one night its only minutes away. We will definately be back! "
"The history of the cabin in itself is reason enough to stay there. It’s a great location on the river. It is a great place to relax and just enjoy the subtle sounds of the river rapids.
