"This modern villa is spotlessly clean throughout with panoramic views in every direction. Even from inside the Villa the view through the windows changes each day like a living painting. It’s spectacular. The grounds are completely enclosed and child friendly with plenty of space for kids to play and adults to chill. The gardens are very well maintained and watered, if you’re from the UK think of a national trust garden with Mediterranean plants. It is also very well lit in the evenings with the BBQ dining area overlooking the top half of Crete (not exaggerating) being one of the gardens hi-lights.The Villa feels secluded in it’s own hillside setting but is at most a 7 minute drive back down to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. So on those sweltering afternoons where the heat of the coast is getting too much, in 10 minutes you can be in your own gorgeous pool with a mountain breeze. Perfect!Eleni deserves her own 5* review but I’m running out of space! A flawless host who is kind, caring, quick to respond to any messages and super friendly. Thank you Eleni! There are no downsides, the beds are comfy, the pool is sparkling, the garden is stunning, the water pressure is great, the wifi is fast, I could go on and on.Stop searching now and book this place, you wont regret it and you’ll never want to leave.Thank you so much! "Absolutely loved it. House is amazing, up in the hills away from the crowds. Giannis and his family couldn’t have done more! Mother made us a lunch when we arrived, dropped round with Easter Cookies for the kids and were on hand if we needed anything. Loved every minute! "

"My girlfriend and I stayed here with a couple friends for two weeks and can say that this villa is absolutely amazing for the price. It’s huge, with beautiful views of the mountains and sea during the day as well as the stars at night. The host Alexandros and his family were very accommodating, we arrived to a welcoming tour of the property and a gift basket. There is a wonderful aroma of flowers in the morning from the garden. The barbecue pit was also stocked with coal and fire starter which was nice. Overall I would recommend this place to any small group or families looking to stay in Crete. It’s located in a peaceful village in the mountains and is a short drive to the lively city of Rethymno. Being in the center of the island it’s also no more than about a two hour drive at most to many scenic or notable places to visit. Renting a car though is a must. "

"The property was spacious, clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the linen was cotton. The outside area is very well equipped and there are several shady places to sit. The pool was clean and a perfect t temperature. Towels were provide for both the beach and the pool which is very helpful When travelling light. Communication between Etouri and the owner were was excellent. We were contacted regularly to see if we needed anything and Eva the owner went out of her way to make suggestions for day trips and restaurants. They could not have been more helpful. "

From a lovely cooked meal for our arrival as we were late to the package of local goodies and home made cake and also booking recommended restaurant, nothing was too much trouble.
