Amazing mansion conversion into an event center and hotel. And there is even a lift to get you up to the top floor! Breakfast was generous and cooked to order. It was somewhat difficult for me to find using GPS. Needed to ask for help at the Tesco petrol station.

Dalhousie Castle is the ideal place if you're looking to stay in a castle in the Edinburgh area. It's about a 20 minute taxi ride from the city center which is just far enough to be out in the peaceful Scottish countryside. We had a short stay in Edinburgh, and this hotel was a real highlight. The interior design is beautiful and thoughtful, and the room felt comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, so we slept well every night. The staff were especially good. They were welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived, and they made the stay easy. The location is quiet and peaceful, but you still get good connections into the city centre. Arthur's Seat is also easy to reach, which was a big plus for us. One...

Driving up to the hotel I instantly fell in love with this place. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is wonderful. We were arriving late and the hotel arranged for us to have sandwiches waiting which was perfect. Peebles is adorable town nearby and recommend a visit. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel!

We stayed at The Raeburn for one night on a recent trip to Edinburgh but wish we could have stayed a few more! The room was huge with lovely woodwork and a marble bathroom (the fixtures were top-notch with a huge tub, huge shower, double sink, and towel warmer). Our king-sized bed was very comfortable and there was also a large flat-screen TV. The elevator made it easy to get to our room and there was parking on-site. The staff was friendly and helpful. When we arrived near the end of time the kitchen was open, they arranged for our bags to be brought to our room and brought us directly to a table in the bar so we got to order in time. The concierge ordered a taxi for our early morning departure the next day and was very helpful. Everyone we met was nice. The room was clean and had a nice shower. Wish we stayed here longer.

Nice people, nice breakfast - just nice! Not a central location - about a 20 minute walk to the Royal Mile - but we prefer the quiet to the noise of the more touristy areas and it's a nice walk. Definitely recommend.

Everything was great! Room was clean and comfortable. Bus station from airport and to city center just in front of hotel! Great morning buffet and dinner was good!

Amazing stay and service!

The space was unuque and beautiful. Definite old world charm. The staff was helpful with suggestions, and friendly. The common spaces were very nice. I would say the room is good for sleeping, but just be aware they are very tiny rooms. It was exactly what we needed, but if I wanted to stay at a place where I'd be in my room a lot I would probably choose something else. But since my room was just for sleeping I would stay here again because I liked all the other spaces.
