"HAd a great visit to Taos. This cute place in the center of town and was so convenient to walk around."

"Property needs upgraded floors and interior. Extremely poor flooring in dire need of repair on second and third floors and upgrading. If staying in lower unit you would not be able to sleep with others upstairs as the noise from the flooring would disrupt your stay. We rented the whole unit and still were displeased. "

"The studio was great once WE took care of the fly strips in the windows, threw out the liquid fly trap also haning in the window which caused the room to smell weird and threw away the dogfood in the kitchenette that was drawing in ants."

"Very cute little place, we enjoyed the decore and location quite a bit. Only downside is that it is right by the police station and so it was pretty noisy with the fire trucks going by and also if you’re sensitive to gas smells, the gas fireplaces are a bit much. Overall, I would stay there again but I would go in the spring when you can open the windows and have ear plugs. "

"The location is great but the condo is a bit tired. The TV set-up is out of the 1990's. There were no instructions on how to use the TV or the fireplace and I had to have maintenance come figure it out. The heating system is loud and outdated. The condo generally needs to be updated. "

A One of a Kind Property

"We were greeted by Ruby the VRBO dog when we arrived for our 2 night stay. She's an awesome pup! We enjoyed talking to Brenda and learning about the property from her. Her collection of art in the house is wonderful. We made two dinners and breakfasts and found everything we needed in the kitchen. Sunsets were amazing. Walking down to the view of the Rio Grande was an experience. We didn't make the trek to the river itself. From the house, we went to the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, visited the Harwood Museum (loved it), toured the earth house community, had lunch at Michaels Kitchen (delicious huge servings), explored cemeteries and churches. Cyd's was a good place to grocery ship for what we needed. Smiths has a bigger selection. The gravel road is a bit teeth rattling but the house makes it all worth it. "

"My only regret is that we could only stay in Taos one night, but my friends and I picked the perfect place. It was easy to find in a great location with well marked signage for parking and within walking distance of many galleries. The hotel has a lot of character and the room was charming and unique. The staff was helpful. We had a delicious meal at the restaurant that had an entertaining band. I would highly recommend the Historic Taos Inn."
