"Our family loved this cute log cabin over spring break! The kids loved playing on the snow, fishing at the pond and we enjoyed having fires in the wood burning stove at night. Great hiking all around the surrounding mountains and in the gorge. Lori was great and we loved our stay."

"Great property. Great hostess. Our family of 7 fit just fine. Nice views. Nice deck/porch areas. It’s about 10min to the Plaza in Taos and about 20min to Sipapu ski area, so the location was good for us. Winter weather was not a problem for access in our 2WD van (though, it does have snow tires). Kitchen was sufficient for cooking suppers at night. You can hear the rush of the nearby stream. Definitely a property to book again in the future."

"There were a few issues during our stay with appliance and electrical but they were resolved very quickly. Everyone was professional and kind during the interaction as well. The cabin itself is amazing perfect for a family get away. The location is perfect close to shops, restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again."

"Everything about this property was wonderful, the only problem if I was to say, there was a problem would be that when we got there the hot tub was very cloudy and by the second day, it was not looking very good so we didn't get a lot of use out of it."

"Visited during last week of April/first week of May. Red River was not busy at all and the cabin was a perfect retreat for peace and quiet! Host was receptive to our pets (thank you) and everything was perfect!! Comfortable sleeping arrangements and cabin had everything we needed and more! "Cozy, comfy, and wonderful location in between Taos Ski Valley village and the upper Ski Valley. My children loved the table tennis and darts on the bottom floor, and the loft bedroom. We loved the convenient kitchen, comfortable bed, and windows on the main floor. We hope to visit again!"

"It was larger than we had originally expected. The hot water gets very hot and stayed hot whenever we needed it. The king size bed is quite firm. The pans are not nonstick, so they’re less easy to clean. All the appliances worked as they should. Kitchenware is all there available. It was a nice stay. We did enjoy it."

"Little Fanny is such a cute cabin. Everything has been renovated and updated including the furniture. We stayed in late June so there was no need for heat. The living room has a ceiling fan, and it stayed quite nice downstairs. The stairs leading to the two bedrooms are very steep and narrow. There are no ceiling fans in the bedrooms and no other fans provided. The upstairs gets very warm. We slept with the windows open. It was ok but still a little uncomfortable temperature wise. "Go to bed at sunset, get up at sunrise. No noisy alarms, rest in your sleeping bag on top of the mattress, build a fire in the old cast-iron stove if needed, wave at your neighbor, but leave them alone. Great sky views, Perhaps especially at night. Zillions of stars come out. Highly recommended place for a solo retreat, as I took."

"Fun 3 day weekend of skiing and family time! Bunk room for cousins, plenty of space, relaxing, and a quick 4 minute drive to the slopes!! Great property!"
