Walking with your luggage is necessary as there is no parking close to the entrance, but it doesn't matter, because the location is beautiful, the garden us beautiful, the facilities are very comfortable, the host was awesome and met us to take us to the front door and he was incredibly helpful. "Such a nice breakfast out on the patio. Quiet, peaceful. Took a dip in the pool which is gorgeous.. unfortunately weather not super warm during our visit but still enjoyed a refreshing dip! Loved our hike to SanGimingnano. Be aware that this is kind of a remote property, but it is beautiful and peaceful. Its up a windy dirt road. We stayed for dinner two nights and enjoyed the property and hiking. Very nice and helpful staff."

"This was such a great find! We loved the experience of living in the heart of the old city, and found Colle to be charming, interesting, and not overrun by tourists. The home itself is lovely (it's got its quirks, like slightly iffy plumbing, but is clearly a beloved home with a charming personality), with wonderful views, comfortable spaces, and a kitchen that works fine for cooking at home if desired. Communication with Laura was good and the check-in and checkout process were easy. Grazie mille, Laura!"

"The house is set in beautiful grounds and the pool was kept in pristine condition. The kitchen was adequate and a liquidizer would have been useful. Wi-Fi was weak and the TV unavailable most of the time but it had its plus points in that the children played with the table tennis and billiards instead! Access to the house was excellent and part of its charm was the wild life. The deer which came to graze and play in the evenings and the pheasant which walked through the grounds certainly added atmosphere. A good time was had by all visiting Florence, Siena, Montepulciano, Rome and of course San Gimignano."
