"Freindly staff lovely rooms that were very clean bar and food were excellent"

"Hotel was clean and nicely decorated with plenty car park spaces.Stayed in a twin room, which was spacious and well equipped- tea & coffee facilities, bottled water and biscuits were a nice touch. Nice bathroom with plenty hot water and powerful shower. Breakfast was good included bacon and sausage sandwich, selection of cereals, pastries, juices, toast. We ate at the bar both evenings- food was good and portions were very generous. Extremely good value for money stay, we would highly recommend."

"A really beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location with extremely friendly staff members. The room was comfortable and spacious although the bathroom is perhaps a little dated now and the shower quite a squeeze (even for a size 12 woman) but having a bath was much appreciated. Our evening meal was good, though not exceptional but nothing to complain about. We were disappointed that the answer to our question as to whether we could have porridge without salt was a very firm 'no' but it was a nice change to have breakfast served to the table instead of the 'free for all' that is the more common breakfast buffet bar nowadays. All in all highly recommended. "

"It was really good. The couple running it were really nice and helpful. Room a bit basic but.nice comfy bed and lovely cotton sheets and towels. They have only been there 6 weeks so early days yet. I think they have plans and have taken on a big project. Good luck to them both."

"Check in was very easy, staff were very friendly and helpful, room was lovely , larger than expected with 4 poster bed. Great hotel in great location. Bar area was very nice with painted mural walls. Only minor negative comment would be that the paint work i.e. doors and skirting was looking very tired, could do with a refresh."

"Great stay at the green dragon inn. Its a really old pub so if you are into modern, this will not suit you. The staff are brilliant. Food was good. The room was fantastic, better than we expected. Crisp white linens on the bed, fab pillows and duvet. Great nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this place."
