Walked around Lake Atascadero and found a great playground for our nieces and nephews. Attached to the park is also a Zoo! Drove around the country fields for some bright spring blooms.

Great little bars, brewery, close to all or central coast with better prices. Beautiful lake for walking and pretty downtown park- plus a hike. Stadium park and Jim Green trail.

Cute, small town. We visited : "The Back Porch Bakery" for breakfast. This is an absolute must visit. The food was unbelievably good, pastries excellent, and the banana bread. We have never tasted banana bread as delicious. The staff was wonderful.

Atascadero was a nice little town. We enjoyed exploring all the historic sites around town. Unfortunately, we went at a time when there was a lot of construction going on, which made getting around town a little challenging.

Mostly what I liked is that any one I met from there smiled and said hello in a warm friendly way. Also LOVED the City Hall and the park in front of it.

Atascadero is much more affordable than high priced Paso Robles. They also have a darling downtown.

Atascadero is my hometown. It's up and coming so I still do more of my shopping and dining in Paso Robles but this location is convenient for either town.
"We had an awesome experience. Great views from the room, walkable to the beach and restaurants, but in a more quiet area of Pismo Beach. Great service. We wish we would have stayed all week! "

"I was impressed with whatever inside the room: comfy and pleasantly clean bed and pillows. Bed is large enough for 2 persons. It is next to a pizza restaurant and Starbucks. Very close to 101 freeway. Bathroom was very clean. "
