"Stayed for 4 nights and had 3 room changes. I did have 2 separate reservations where I added an extra night before my trip and spoke with a hotel agent who said they’d try to keep me in the same room so that I didn’t have to check out the last night and move but that didn’t happen. First room/night slept without AC because AC was broken. They moved me from a suite to grand suite. Had to pack up everything and go. They couldn’t accommodate the last night without moving us to another room so pack up everything again to move. They moved us 9 doors down the hall to a room that was nearly identical except the “living area” was a bit smaller but there was a second big screen tv in that room, so better than the grand suite in my opinion. Showers in all rooms are very slippery, no anti slip mats. The last two rooms had the “rain fall” shower heads. Sounds nice, but the misplaced shower handles made it difficult to turn the shower on/off or even change the temperature without wetting your hair and no way to turn on the shower from the outside to let it warm up. Breakfast was terrible. Something I didn’t expect at this hotel. I hate to say it but we’ve stayed at much “cheaper” hotels in Barranquilla and the breakfast was way better. If you have a guest, they charge 63k pesos for breakfast, which was expensive considering the quality. Only had breakfast at the hotel once. We won’t be choosing the Dann Carlton again. "
