"The hotel is new, well situated, and has great amenities including a second story bar/patio area and a rooftop dipping pool with loungers. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. "dulce, eder and all staff were great, always helpful. my room was very comfortable and spotlessly cleaned each day. breakfasts were tasty and varied. unfortunately external construction created unwanted noise but this did not detract from the excellence of the casa carlota standard. i highly recommend casa carlota!

"This is a friendly, peaceful, and authentic hotel that is blessedly removed from the super busy center but easily walkable to the cathedral, markets, and various restaurants. There is a peaceful rooftop terrace where you can find self serve beverages as well as breakfast (both for a small extra charge). It is so wonderful to stay in a place owned and managed sustainably by locals who love it. I will definitely be back. "

"Centrally located.
All aspects were good. The included breakfast had a number of good choices. We ate a couple of times at the pool which was a lovely experience + shout out to the bar person at the pool who was very friendly.
The street level rooms can be a bit noisy but the sound proofing is pretty good and earplugs worked.

Great location with nice little balconies (at least my unit had one), on a main road so expect noise during the day & relative quiet at night.
