"We had to switch last minute from a hotel in the center to this one because the other didn’t have AC during a heat wave. I’m very happy with the decision. It was a little on the pricier side. But a great view of the Eiffel Tower, Ubers were fairly cheap to get back to the center, and the local area didn’t feel touristy. There was a great bakery down the hill, a street market and a cafe across the street. This hotel had a pool, steam room and sauna (1 hour free), and it seemed it was on historic grounds with a small monastery and beautiful church."

Waldorf Astoria Versailles - Trianon Palace

"The Waldorf is situated in a beautiful historic building. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We ordered in room dining and it was fine. We also had breakfast and it was great. They seem to be a bit short on staff as every time we needed anything, the only staff member at reception was busy with another guest and wait time was quite long. Also, they gave us a bottle of wine which is a nice gesture but the wine was quite horrible. In a 5 star hotel, guests usually know a bit about wine."

"The room was tiny and the bathroom was ridiculously small. Open the shower door to use the toilet small. The staff was very helpful once you found someone. The breakfast was very good."

"Nice staff, breakfast and great amenities. I enjoyed the swimming pool and the hotel room had many amenities including a dishwasher and 2 televisions. The breakfast had a variety of different food and drinks. I recommend this establishment as it is a great value for money."
